Boa noite a todos
Esta mesinha de centro que vêm, esteve como nova durante cerca de cinco anos, ou seja, desde a data em que a adquiri até à data em que adquiri uma gata, a nossa Tessie. A partir daí, foi um ataque contínuo, massivo e persistente até ao derradeiro dia em que, olhar para ela, fazia doer o coração e decidi, salvá-la dos ataques felinos, do mais recente membro da família.
This coffee table you see, was new for about five years, since the date of purchase to the date we acquired a cat, our Tessie. From there, it was a continuous attack, massive and persistent until the final day, that we look at it, and made my heart hurt and decided to save it from the felines attacks , of the newest member of the family.

Então, decidi vesti-la, transformei-a nesta mesa de centro que vêm, mudei-a para o sotão e até hoje, está-me grata. Sim, a gata já andou à procura, mas não a encontra.

O tecido foi comprado em Amsterdam, na Holanda, deve ser das poucas coisas claramente mais acessíveis que em Portugal. E os tecidos que comprei para fazer almofadas fofinhas? Mostro-vos um dia destes.
O tecido foi menos de 8 € o metro, com 1,50 cm de largo. A mao de obra foi da minha mae. Aproveitei e fiz duas almofadas iguais para o sofá. É um trabalho menos complexo, por isso a mao de obra foi minha.

The fabric was purchased in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, must be the few things clearly more affordable than in Portugal. And the fabric I bought to make fluffy pillows ? Show you sometime.
The tissue was less than 8 € the metro, with 1.50 cm wide. The manpower was from my mother. I took two pillows and made equal to the couch. It is a less complex work, so manpower was mine.
